Butt and Fusion Welding
Butt welding is a welding technique used to join PE (polyethylene) pipes together. The join is made by using hot plates to melt the ends of the pipes, then joining them together under pressure. PE pipes are commonly used for water, sewer, stormwater and power ducts instead of PVC pipes. We offer butt welding of up to 315 mm.

Thrust Boring
Thrust boring is one of the oldest and most basic forms of trenchless technology used for installing underground utilities. This technology is mainly used for installing small lengths of pipe up to approximately 30 metres. The thrust boring machine can be used to thrust in a variety of ground conditions from sand through to hard clays and it is an economical way of boring.

Hydro Excavation
Hydro Excavation uses pressurised water to break up the soil, which is then vacuumed up with hydrovacs. This allows for quick, safe and precise excavation with minimal environmental impact and zero surface damage. It’s a great technique for protecting underground assets, such as pre-existing utilities or trees.

Steel Pipe Ramming
Steel pipe ramming is a recognised method of installing pipes. With a short set-up time and minor disruption to the ground surface, a wide range of pipes can be installed. Pipe ramming is a cost-effective and accurate alternative compared to conventional methods. Ramming tools are powered by compressed air and can be used for horizontal, vertical and angled applications.

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) allows information about the subsurface to be gained including accurately locating services that are not contained on council plans. It gives the ability to identify buried assets more accurately and non-invasively, providing an accurate understanding of utilities and more.
